Delivery Channels Lead

To lead software development (Front end channels, mobile and web) and ensure it delivers fit for purpose and meets both external and internal requirements that is promotes an exceptional customer experience.

7.1.Manage a team of developers as well as outsourced 3rd parties that develop solutions to grow and support digital footprint.
7.2.Identifier, evaluate and implement appropriate tools needed to implement the processes as well as ensure complete transparency and up-to-the-minute information on the status of software releases pushed to the cloud
7.3.Ensure optimal designs of Front end channels, mobile and web, that are aligned to Exceptional Customer Experience
7.4.Review and accept code merges in the pipeline and maintain very high standards of code quality.
7.5.Participate in discussions on evolving the Enterprise platform to accommodate new use cases.
7.6.Active research on new technologies that promote improving our Exceptional Customer Experience.
7.7.Provide Mentorship to team members, peers and colleagues with intent to improve understanding and exceed expectations.
7.8.Provide Guidance, training and escalation support for individual team members and support teams.
7.9.Leverage engineering practices like TDD, CI/CD and Refactoring techniques.
7.10.Develop and maintain Roadmaps (SDLC) for each Front-end channel, which maps development Strategy, lifecycle management of components that are aligned with business’ Strategic objectives.
7.11.Implement pipelines for new solutions/migrations and ensure automations are in place for quality gates.
7.12.Incorporate Risk management, information and cyber security principles and best practices in the design and development life cycle.
7.13.Ensure all assets and process implemented are fully documented, ensuring that version and history is maintained aligned to business objectives of retention
7.14.Develop standardized operating instructions for system support and upgrades.
7.15.Automate and optimise deployment of Front end channels from Development to UAT to Production
7.16.Perform vulnerability assessment, remediation and risk management for all solutions developed
7.17.Develop cost models, platform services, and common storage options with the intent to reduce overall costs for delivering the solutions
7.18.Work closely with the Integrations and backend teams to help design scalable, maintainable, and user friendly products and make sure integration platform is extensible to evolve/improve throughout its lifecycle
7.19.Manage and coordinate the requirement assessments and determinations of integrations and onboarding needs for acquired businesses with the integration teams
7.20.Host quarterly internal agile software development knowledge sharing workshops
7.21.Ensure all Audit findings are closed within agreed timelines
7.22.Reduce the repeat Audit findings down to Zero through Development of new solutions, and particularly during replication of solutions
7.23.Ownership and leadership of Front end channels development and technical roadmap
7.24.Participate in an agile delivery process and provide delivery estimates into the squads

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, Information technology or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution

•At least 5 years of technology experience in Banking Sector of which at least 3 years have been in a technical role that has a multitude of business and technical demands. 2 year experience as team lead

•In-depth knowledge Integrations or business transitions
•Strong understanding of identify protocols such as SSO, SAML, OAuth, JWT, and PKI
•Working Knowledge of Agile ways of working and SecDevOps
•Experience with Swagger editor and YAML
•Experience with Java, spring boot
•Experience with Kotlin and ReactJS
•Experience with Android and IOS mobile apps
•Understanding of Micro services patterns & concepts
•Experiencing working with Maven
•Experience building real time systems for financial services
•Multi-system integration using industry standards such as REST, API, JSON, SOAP
