Specification |
1.Collaborate with stakeholders, business representatives, and subject matter experts to design IT systems and programs
2.Chair Group Solutions Committee to review business requirements and to design appropriate solutions 3.Ensure that IT systems and program to be implemented are in synchronization with the needs of the business organization 4.Comprehend business strategies and requirements and develop necessary designs and plans to ensure projects and solutions satisfy those needs 5.Act as a contributing member of the project team from project inception to completion 6.Actively listen to business problems and needs to implement that information when creating solution plans 7.Provide advice and make decisions about which technologies would be suitable to use for various projects 8.Consistently monitor the scope of projects 9.Collaborate with project managers and other staff members to develop budgets and timelines for solutions 10.Assess and evaluate risk as required 11.Maintain understanding of how individual work and decisions fit into the broader organizational picture 12.Keep skills updated and remain proactively aware of happenings and current events in the industry 13.Mentor, educate, and train colleagues as requested 14.Collaborate with solution architects and network architects to provide enterprise solutions 15.Prepare proposals and cost estimation of designing and implementing IT programs and systems 16.Work with network architects to enhance sharing of resources to improve information flow and minimize costs 17.Assist business managers in developing policies and guidelines regarding the design and implementation of IT within the enterprise 18.Educate non-technical employees on how to utilize programs and software in managing work duties 19.Ensure the timely completion of enterprise IT projects Facilitate Successful Transformation & Delivery 1.Understand business requirements, priorities and future strategies for group and each country. 2.Change champion and transformation advocate; providing guidance and direction against business goals / objectives Leadership: 1.Display enterprise awareness and disposition and act as a clear role model for others in the organization. 2.Play a proactive cross-functional role to ensure that the imperatives for transformation are understood and embedded in the business. 3.Play an active role in contributing to and understanding the Group change agenda for the business. |

Requirements |
1.A IT Related or Finance Degree
2.A minimum of 5 years of Applications and Solutions Design 3.Specific knowledge Letshego strategic vision, goals and priorities, knowledge of the industry, and relationship with strategic partners in order for own work prioritisation and scheduling.. 4.Generic Business Acumen: The understanding of & ability to deal with business situations in a manner that is likely to lead to good outcomes. A knowledge or literacy of business. 5.Letshego Specific Business Acumen: knowledge & understanding of the Letshego business & its component parts -"Getting the bigger Letshego Business Picture". Knowing & understanding the business of all "other" entities (outside of own) within the group, their short-, medium- & long-term plans, challenges and principles. 6.Knowledge of the mainstream leadership theories, thinking & approaches, including: knowledge of the components that comprise Leadership, e.g. influence, coaching & mentoring, change & culture transformation, collaboration, conflict & crisis management, shaping values, self-management, motivation, risk taking & management; Knowledge of Leadership styles & approaches |
