Location: Gaborone Botswana.
Position Requirements.
- Education:
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in HR positions level.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience leading a HR Shared Service or business service operations team utilising service management principles.
- Experience in Organizational Design, Process Design and Re-engineering, and Change Management.
- Experience:

- Member of a HR professional body
- Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes and tools
- Strong knowledge of change management methodologies
- Knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems
- Knowledge of Human Resources practices and legal requirements.
- Working knowledge of the critical components of a successful HR department including employment law, performance management, resolving conflict, having difficult conversations, employee engagement, training, maintaining employee files, and managing operational budgets.

- Main Purpose (Why does the exist)
To coordinate the HR shared services in the Group, supporting HR operations processes, systems and associated transaction management.
- Critical Deliverables /Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Oversees the incorporation and delivery of HR shared service offerings with a keen focus on Payroll processing.
- Monitors data integrity in systems and ensures appropriate and relevant audit controls are in place.
- Contributes to the development and testing of HR data collection forms or questionnaires in area of expertise to ensure the collection of relevant data in line with defined requirements.
- Prepares performance reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising data and trends.
- Analyses key performance data to partner with internal and HR partners to identify, recommend and drive process improvements.
- Builds and maintains a positive environment to train and develop team members to foster understanding of broad HR principles, policies, procedures and systems with a high level of customer service focus.
- Uses established protocols and tiered escalation, ensure response to issues and requests from HR, employees and managers in accordance with service levels agreements (SLAs).
- Helps build a culture of Manager & Employee Self-Service (MSS/ESS) leveraging technology, service delivery, and documentation (both content & knowledge).
- Builds dashboards & reporting to enable Business Reviews and ongoing evaluation of service health and customer experience.
- Continuously improve the quality of HR data and the integrity of downstream analytics – ensuring meaningful and trustworthy business metrics.
