Main Purpose (Why does the job exist)
To develop the long-range strategic roadmap that aligns Letshego’s marketing and branding initiatives with the objective to drive customer acquisition and create customer-centric experiences that contribute to the achievement of business objectives.
Critical Deliverables /Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the overall brand strategy to ensure consistent brand messaging, positioning, and visual identity across all channels and touchpoints in our internal and external communities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and innovation.
- Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Ideate a comprehensive GTM strategy in close partnership with cross-functional teams and translate it into actionable marketing plans.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends, and use these insights to refine marketing strategies.
- Analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve maximum impact.
- Oversee the conceptualization, development, and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, traditional media, etc.).
- Analyse campaign performance and metrics to optimize future initiatives and ROI
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including SEO, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Monitor and manage the brand's online reputation and engagement on social media platforms and other digital channels.
- Stay updated with digital marketing trends and emerging technologies to keep the brand's online presence relevant and effective.
- Manage public relations efforts to maintain positive relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
