Job Description:
A job vacancy has arisen within the Operations & IT Department of Letshego Bank Namibia for the above-mentioned position, the details of the role are outlined below:
Purpose of the Job:
To enable the LBN digital strategy and digital transformation journey in a cost-effective way through the gathering of requirements for new projects, programs and/or products/solution and communicating them clearly to all stakeholders. Quality Assurance (QA) testing, evaluation, and validation throughout the digital journey to ensure quality and stable product delivery to the LBN business and its customers.
1. Critical Deliverables / Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
1. Execute system and product QA testing
2. Provide 1st level support for LBN payments and Channels
3. Provide Digital Mall (LBN App) support across all environments
4. Define and document process flows related to the LBN digital systems.
5. Identify and log bugs encountered during product development, QA testing and or production support.
6. Reporting and tracking of all bugs, incidents, and blockers
7. Coordinating with Service Provider (Internal or external) QA engineers and Test Managers for the development of effective test plans and strategies
8. Tracks and fully documents change for functional and business specifications; writes detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training.
7. Executing and clearly documenting test plans covering all aspects of testing required for product delivery
8. Identify and communicate business risks related to testing and implementation for evaluation by project teams and management.
9. Research and prepare statistical reports using data from LBN Channels and internal surveys to improve product quality, performance, stability, and adoption.
10. Consolidates information into cohesive and understandable correspondence or other written form for use in management decision-making.
11. Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
12. Identify and/or coordinate/incorporate with business resources for regression testing for all streams
13. Perform root cause analysis and resolution
14. Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to the process and prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to the product process of the system.
15. Undertake special projects as required by management.
16. Detailed monthly reporting to the necessary business forums/committees.
2. General Responsibilities:

4. Monitoring and creating logs to document testing phases and defects

5. Conducting post-release and post-implementation testing
3. Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product life cycle.
6. Performing functional testing of features for release cycles, including creating/executing test cases, raising defects, and maintaining defect logs.
3. Required knowledge and skills:
1. Good knowledge of test processes methodologies, tools, and technology
2. Knowledge of the National Payment System (NPS)
3. Complex modelling techniques
4. Analytical and conceptual expertise
5. Planning, documentation, analysis, and business requirements management techniques
6. Knowledge of business processes
7. Ability to have a business-oriented vision
8. Knowledge of and adherence to Agile Ways of Working Principles
4. Required Knowledge and Skills:
1. Grade 12 with points and above, Degree/Diploma or international certified technical qualifications
2. More than 1 year experience in Technology practices and support
3. More than 1 year of experience digital enablement
4. More than 1 year experience in the financial sector
