Group Strategic Business Intelligence Manager

To compile and deliver management reports, statutory accounts for the group and to create and adhere to a robust financial controls environment within the Group.

7.1.Develops and prepares strategies for Finance Business Intelligence processes for the organisation.
7.2.Works collaboratively across the organisation to assess financial processes, identify the most important KPI’s for tracking those processes, and put processes and tools in place to enable automated tracking and reporting
7.3.Enables the efficient capture, tracking, and reporting of progress toward financial goals and commitments
7.4.Locates and applies new and/or best sources for financial data, practices, and tools to drive more effective and efficient analytics leading to better financial outcomes
7.5.Prepares Group Annual Report and interim financial statements (half year) together with supporting analysis, Q&A packs and investor metrics
7.6.Prepares and consolidates Group monthly management accounts, ensuring month end close to strict deadlines across all group entities.
7.7.Prepares and delivers financial closing and consolidated results in accordance with IFRS, and other regulatory requirements
7.8.Prepare forecasts, annual budgets and financial strategic plans for the Group
7.9.Complies with all group policies and relevant technical accounting standards
7.10.Liaises with the Group’s auditors, lead and co-ordinate annual and quarterly audits across all Group companies.
7.11.Conducts and completes monthly reconciliations Develops, implements, and monitors compliance with effective internal controls and risk management for Group.
7.12.Maintains Fixed Asset Register, Capex budgeting and reporting, supporting the development of robust business cases and post implementation review.

•A bachelor's degree in a business related field.
•A master's degree is an added advantage
•Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience including business intelligence with a minimum of 3 years at management level
•BI Analytics and/or Data warehouse experience required
