Role profile
The Loan Administrator in the Loan Administration department is responsible to ensure
that Loan Vetting and Approval is done accurately and in a timely manner.
 
Minimum Qualifications
  •  Grade 12 (25 points)

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  •  Ensure that documents related to loan applications are correct and agree with the supporting documents obtained on a daily basis to ensure timeous approval of loans.
  •  Ensure there’s is an Active APS reservation for each loan application processed.
  •  Liaise with Namibia Debt Management Services and outside branches as well as sales staff on errors on applications on time.
  •  Attend to telephone enquiries from clients.
  •  Ensure that the affordability checks for clients meet the standard as per Credit Policy and Legal requirements.
  •  Participate in the continuous assessment and improvement of business processes,moving towards ‘Automated processes’ (eForms, eReports).
  •  Understand and participate in the action plan implemented to meet the company Health and Safety strategies and action plans aimed at mitigating the health and
      safety risk within the organization.
 
Experience should include
  •  Must have at least one year work experience in the banking sector.
  •  Must be PC Literate
  •  Must have excellent communication skills, attentive to details and be able to multitask.
